Week 25

I hope everyone is having a merry christmas!!!
 I am so incredibly grateful for my savior Jesus Christ, I know he lives. I will send more later on my week, but let me know how all your christmas's go!!! I love you all!!!

Alrighty, so the Lord had a big plan that came together this weekend!! 

Saturday, we had a correlation meeting with Poamrong, but before we went we had a few extra minutes, so we pulled out a few old lists of potentials and went on a hunt! We went to the first house, and they let us in! The husbands name is Sea, and he had a bunch of really awesome questions about why there are so many churches, and we found out that as of now he is baptist. he is super nice and loves that we speak Khmer! We left with two new investigators! That day we also got a referral from the AP's for a cambodian family near our apartment!!

Sunday, We had church as usual, but Chantha's whole family came! Her mom has sat in on lessons before, but has never seemed too interested, but then she came to church!! It was awesome! Bunthai came too, which meant two weeks in a row! That is more than he has come the entire rest of the time I've been here! That night we went to teach him, and he talked about a talk that was shared in sacrament. The women talked about how her oldest son was killed in a drive by shooting, and that her next oldest son went to get revenge and ended up in prison, and Bunthai was his Cell partner. It was so powerful to him, and the spirit testified to him that he needs to change. He shared his life story with us and how he was heavily involved in gangs for a long time, it was amazing to hear how sincerely he wanted to change. When all was said and done, we committed him to be baptized on February 28th!! It was incredible!! 

There is so much power that enters your life when you allow the gospel to become apart of the things you do. It allows you to see whether or not your choices are going to in the end make you happier or ruin you, and ultimately, lead you to God or the Adversary. I love helping people get on and stay on the path to God, and I know that the Church is True. I love you all and hope you have and awesome week!!! Happy New Year!!!
