This week was pretty solid. I'm satisfied. We had a week of crazy high goals, and it was awesome, we worked harder than ever to meet them, and we had a great results!!
Monday was cool, we got to go teach bunthai again after dinner with Sally's family, then we went to bed!
Tuesday we had district meeting and taught Prim more about the restoration! He loved it, he said Joseph smith is one of his new heroes, second to Christ. He's a stud. after that we started an exchange with our zone leaders! Elder Hibbert bought them some baby duck eggs to eat, it was awesome, except that the one I took was super nasty and rotten... super disgusting.
Wednesday we went to work in the good ol' W.C. and this jehovahs witness tried to tell us to quite being missionaries, and Elder Apostolos and I looked at each other, said a silent prayer, and followed the spirit in explaining in detail every claim he made against us and broke down all the false doctrine he was throwing at us, and long story short, Elder Apostolos has a new investigator after a few tears or sad realization. The guy was so bent on finding the truth, and the spirit testified to him while we taught him, and he realized that there was truth to what we were saying, it was amazing, like something out of the scriptures. We taught one member about the temple also, he just found out he is getting married, it was a super cool lesson!
Thursday we had a cool service for a program that gives toys to kids! we got to organize a bunch of toys for like 4 hours, it was fun!
Friday we taught bunthai again! we read a ton out of 1 Nephi with him, he loves it! he said he is super excited to learn more! after that we went caroling with the branch!
Saturday was incredible. Elder Larry R. Lawrence came and spoke. I learned so much, It was a deep doctrine, inspirational, motivational, reminder kind of talk from him and his wife. I loved it. Right after we went to teach prim and he said he wants to move his baptism to be sooner!! he has progressed so much in the last two weeks, it's unreal.
Sunday was cool, Prim and Jonathan made it to church, bunthai got called in to work. Brother Sot got a ton of new ties and gave each of us one for christmas! It was awesome! After we went to teach Bunthai, and his girlfriend came to sit in, and we got a new investigator! her name is Desiree, and she has a ton of awesome questions!! We are going to get two more people married and ready for baptism!!!
I am so grateful for the amazing change the gospel brings for people, and the power that is given when you choose to follow the savior!! I love christmas as much as ever and am so grateful for the gift of our savior Jesus christ, I love all of you!!! Merry CHRISTmas!!!!
Love,
Elder Cameron Tolman
